These are the terms for using Cameralisatie's film lab. By placing an order — in store, by mail, or through a drop-box — you agree to them.

We develop C41 colour, black & white, and E6 slide film, and deliver high-resolution digital scans and prints. Turnaround is roughly five days from the moment we receive your film, though this can run longer during busy periods or planned closures — the live status banner at the top of the site always reflects the current estimate.

We handle every roll with care, but developing film carries some inherent risk. We're not responsible for damage to film that was already damaged, poorly stored, or expired before it reached us.

In the unlikely event your film is damaged or lost during processing, our liability is limited to refunding the service fee for that order. We can't replace the moments captured on it, so please keep this in mind — especially for anything irreplaceable.

If there's a problem with our developing or scanning that affects the quality of your images, we'll rescan your negatives or offer a full refund. Email us within 14 days of receiving your scans with your order number and a description of the issue.
We can't offer a refund for problems caused by the film itself — expired stock, camera faults, or exposure mistakes — or for creative preferences about colour or exposure, since those come down to taste rather than a processing error.
